What We Buy:

We buy hundreds of cards each week from collectors who bring their cards to our Shop. While we love buying cards, we can’t buy every card that comes to the shop. Here is some info about what we do and don’t buy, and how it works.

We take pride on providing collectors with an amazing selection of highly collectible sports and gaming cards. As life-long collectors ourselves, we understand the importance of sourcing cards that meet a high standard of collectability. That’s why we’re committed to purchasing cards that meet the following:

Cards: We specialize in purchasing sports and gaming cards from various eras, both modern and vintage cards. Whether you have baseball, football, basketball, other sports or Pokemon cards we’re interested in evaluating them for purchase or trade, as long as they meet the purchasing guidelines.

Our Purchasing Guidelines:

High-quality Condition: We prefer cards that are in excellent condition, free from damage, creases, and wear. Graded Cards are a priority.

Value Over $5: This ensures we are acquiring items that have market demand and can offer value to our customers.

Not from the Junk Wax Era (1987 - mid-1990s): We don’t typically buy sports cards from 1987 mid-1990s. While there are some exceptions, most cards produced during this time frame were massed produced and have minimal demand from the collecting community. Exceptions may include cards of Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant and Hall of Famer rookies cards from the major sports.

Cards only: We only buy cards, we do not buy sealed wax, memorabilia or other collectibles.

How to Sell Your Cards:

Bring Your Collection to Overtime Cards: Come to our Shop and join the waitlist. One of our staff members will evaluate your collection and let you know if your collection is something Overtime Cards would be interested in buying. Saturdays is our busiest day, please plan on longer wait times. Waitlist sign-up end one hour before close.

Evaluation Process: Our staff of experts will carefully review your collection and assess the value of your cards.

Offer and Payment: Once we have evaluated your collection, we’ll provide you with a competitive offer for your cards. We offer cash or in-store credit.

We buy based on our shop’s inventory needs. We reserve the right to refuse any collection.
